Thank you to all of the lovely people who joined us on our Jesmond Community Festival tours of Jesmond Old Cemetery; there were nearly 80 attendees on our two tours, where we were blessed with fantastic weather. We all had a great time showing you around this beautiful cemetery, sharing some of the many tales of those buried here and giving you an insight into our work as Friends of Jesmond Old Cemetery.

Also, just a quick but heartfelt ‘thank you’ to our friends at the Jesmond Community Forum, particularly Chris Clarke – they all do a great job and their support is very much appreciated by us.
