THE SOUTH LODGE BORDER

Having been given two trays of wildflowers by Rachel Flannery, the City Council's Biodiversity Officer, the Friends of Jesmond Old Cemetery planted them out in their recently established border around the South Lodge.

Obviously, the flowers look a little bit puny and sorry for themselves at the moment but we have been reassured that they will thrive and look like championship winning leeks in a couple of years time!!
